The Board of Zoning Appeals is the body that considers and makes decisions about:

  • Appeals of the City's actions in administering the zoning regulations of the City Code;

  • Variances from the specific requirements of the zoning regulations; and

  • Exceptions that are specifically authorized by the zoning regulations.

  

Members

The Board consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Governing Body.

 

  • Vacant, Ward I

  • Don Schneiter, Vice Chairperson,    Planning Commission Representative

  • Steve Twitty, Ward II

  • Tom Nickel, Chairperson, Ward III

  • Sandra Bradshaw, Ward IV

 

Meetings

Meetings of the Board are held at the call of the chairperson. The Board meets annually on the first Tuesday in July at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall to elect officers and review the Board's Rules and Regulations.
