Registration is currently being taken at the Haysville Activity Center. Space is limited and will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Admission

Children in grades kindergarten through fifth are welcome to attend the Latchkey program. Registration forms must be completed and returned before the first day of attendance. All forms can be downloaded from this site (see right side of page).

Hours

Sites open at 6:30 am and run until the school breakfast program is open to students. Students not eating breakfast will be released to go to class at 8:15 am. All sites will reopen after school is dismissed and will close at 6:00 pm. Breakfast meal ticket is not included in childcare fees.

Admission

Children enrolled in USD 261 kindergarten are welcome to attend. Registration forms must be completed and returned before the first day of attendance. All forms can be downloaded from this site (see right side of page.)

Hours

Site opens at 6:30 am and will run until 5:30 pm. The morning session hours are 6:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session hours are 11:10 am to 5:30 pm. USD 261 will provide all the transportation to and from each school. Lunch will either be eaten at school or at the HAC depending on which school your child attends. For more detailed information, please contact the HAC at 529-5922.

Latchkey & HAC’s Lil Playhouse

Registration packets are available at the HAC, each Latchkey site, and online. Registrations will only be taken at the HAC. Registration is limited.
A $30 registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. The registration fee reserves your child’s space in the program. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Payments are to be made at the Latchkey site or the HAC and are to be made payable to the Haysville Recreation Department.
Payment is due on Monday of each week. A late payment fee of $2 per day will be charged after Monday. If payment is not received by Friday, participants will NOT be able to return the following week. If there is a 2-week lapse in payment, the child will be considered dropped from the program. The Program Supervisor will review special circumstances.
There are no fee reductions for sick/absent days, or for days that you choose not to send your child.
Fees are based on enrollment, not attendance. You will be required to pay for the days you have enrolled for, even if you do not use them.
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify through SRS. More information is available at the HAC or by contacting the SRS office at 337-7070.
A $1/hour additional fee will be charged for extra hours of care. Example: early dismissal due to weather. If school dismisses at 2:00 p.m. or later, we will offer latchkey services at an additional rate for that extended amount of time.

SOS DAYS

2008-2009 School Year

Youth will spend the day with friends participating in games, arts and crafts, and traveling to different places on fun-filled day trips! On these days, an extra fee will be charged on top of latchkey fees (non-latchkey students are welcome!). Pre-registration is required. SRS payments will not be accepted.

Fee: $20/Latchkey students; $25/Non-Latchkey students
